Holding guitar

So when I hold the guitar I have watched videos on how to do it correctly but it seems like my strumming hand is always uncomfortable. Like the way I have to reach around the body. Is that something you just get used to? I feel like it keeps me from being able to keep my hand against the guitar while I pick the strings.

What are the numbers for at the bottom of my tuner?

New to playing guitar, my tuner has these numbers at the bottom of the screen. It starts at 430 goes up to 450 then restart at 430. Anyone know what this is for?

What’s the proper way to hold a guitar pick?

I’m a newbie and am learning how to hold a guitar pick. Am I holding it the right way? with the pointed part of the pick facing the guitar? I’m also trying to learn strumming with a pick. It seems that the sound of pick is really loud when I try to play guitar with a pick. Is that normal?
