Guitar, what to learn first ?

Hi, I'm a self taught guitarist. Right now, I'm so confused on what I should practice or learn. I can play a few songs and a few chords. no problem.

But, I need to know the essentials. Can you guys share tips ? What should I learn/practice first ?

Interval ? chord construction ? Scales ?
