“Rocketman” - Elton John Guitar Lesson
Get started on the guitar with personal coaching from Nate Savage: http://bit.ly/2JbDyD7 With the upcoming release of the Elton John movie “Rocketman”, you might be getting some people requesting you to play this hit song. So in this guitar lesson, we’re going to learn how to play “Rocketman” on the guitar! “Rocketman” isn’t really considered a “guitar” song since Elton John was a pianist. But the great thing about this is that it gives us a little bit of freedom to interpret the guitar part for ourselves. The song itself is fairly simple and straightforward. You’ll use some basic strumming patterns and chords you probably already know. If you’re struggling with playing this song, be sure to check out some of our other lessons on strumming technique, changing chords smoothly, and understanding chord progressions. If you enjoyed learning this tune, try learning some other Elton John classics!
