I’ve been playing for roughly a year now and learning from YouTube and have discovered I have terrible timing.
Although I practice with a metronome it hasn’t benefited me as I’ve been only doing exercises to it and not learning songs with it. I can’t strum a consistent pattern, and although I can get the groove of the riff right it quickly falls apart.
What can I do to correct this?
