Seymour Duncan has announced its new Polaron phaser pedal.

An analog phase shifter with a separate digital processor for controlling LFO and envelop follower functions, the Polaron features an adjustable 2- to 16-stage analog filter array, which packs a wide range of phaser tones.

The Polaron's ENV mode allows pick attack to determine its sounds, while the pedal's Tap Tempo function allows users to sync the phasing to a specific groove or beat. LFO mode, meanwhile, enables the Polaron to be operated like a traditional phaser.

The digital modulation model onboard the pedal allows users to save three programmable presets, which can then be navigated by the right footswitch.

Elsewhere on the pedal, there are Depth and Rate controls, Tune and Resonance knobs, plus a Sens knob - to adjust envelope sensitivity while the pedal is in ENV mode.

The Seymour Duncan Polaron phaser pedal is available now for $229.
