Marshall Launches New Uxbridge Voice Speaker with Amazon Alexa

Marshall Launches New Uxbridge Voice Speaker with Amazon Alexa

Marshall has launched its new Uxbridge Voice speaker with Amazon Alexa.

The compact, 30-watt speaker can connect to Alexa via Airplay 2, Spotify Connect or Bluetooth, and can be part of a multi-room sound system with Amazon Echo or other supported Alexa built-in speakers or Airplay 2 enabled speakers.

Uxbridge users can wirelessly play different songs in each room or create a single unified system throughout the house. It can also be used as a day planner, to control devices around the house or even to set alarms.

As far as controls go, there are volume, bass and treble rockers, in addition to play/pause/skip, mute/unmute mic and push-to-talk buttons.

The speakers are also built with a far-field microphone array for smart voice recognition and noise cancellation. This means that even if users are blasting music, or on the other side of a room, Alexa can still hear their questions/commands.

The Marshall Uxbridge Voice speaker with Amazon Alexa will be available - with a black or white enclosure - starting April 8 for $199.
