I’ve learned the five major patterns forward and backwards and practiced them with a metronome to sear them into my brain. How do I make the connections on the whole fretboard though? Is there a way to see the bigger picture? These five different patterns are tools I just don’t get I think. I’m a monkey with wrench I don’t know how to use.
