Not sure if this is allowed here I read the faq didn’t see it covered so I’ll shoot. I’ve been playing for a little while now I can write my own riffs, jam a few songs with friends (mostly early Metallica and Slayer) so I’m not what you’d call a beginner but I want some formal training. I live in the suburbs of Chicago. Basically what I’m asking if there’s any good links or sites that can point me in the right direction of a GOOD teacher that can gauge where I’m at and improve me (I’ve had a teacher before who didn’t do a very good job in my opinion, mostly teaches beginners felt like a waste of time) I would prefer in person over online.
