Keeley Electronics has teamed up with country guitar maestro Johnny Hiland to create the new Sweet Spot Johnny Hiland Super Drive overdrive pedal.
The pedal features a JFET discrete transistor input and a three-knob control set, with knobs for Drive, Level and Tone.
The Sweet Spot also packs a two-way gain toggle switch that allows the user to run the gamut, sonically, from light pre-amp clipping to searing power-tube breakup.
“The market today seems to be flooded with overdrive/distortion pedals," Hiland said in a statement. "The Sweet Spot Super Drive offers its own sweet voice and character that separates it from all the rest. I feel that we made a sweet sounding overdrive pedal that offers versatility for those guitarists who love playing Telecasters."
The Keeley Electronics Sweet Spot Johnny Hiland Super Drive pedal is available now - in a limited run of 100 pedals - for $179.99.
