Milkman Sound has introduced its new AMP 100 pedalboard amplifier.
An expanded, more powerful version of the company's 50-watt pedalboard amp, the AMP 100 features 100 watts of power, an integrated FET boost circuit and dual control reverb.
The amp's FET boost can act as an EQ sweetener - boosting midrange frequencies - or as a drive pushing the AMP 100's 12AX7 tube into full saturation. The boost sits between the triodes of the preamp tube, and can preserve interaction between the instrument input and the first tube stage, and increase headroom, when placed internally.
The dual control reverb features controls for decay time and reverb blend. The decay control ranges from "a short room-like reverb sound to a full tank spring splash with classic drip."
The AMP 100 is finished in black, with walnut end panels and silver knobs. Its price has yet to be revealed as of press time.
