A new, easier way of writing guitar music

I have developed a method of notation that works for all fretted string instruments. I play guitar and use it exclusively now when I write. It's called Plain Text Notation (check out the ebook in Amazon) and, at its most simple it is based on giving the fret along with the string. So the A note on the 5th fret of the low E string becomes 5E. Lower case is used for the 'skinny' strings and acts as a guide visual cue. As a final example the A minor pentatonic scale using the the Plain Text Notation (PTN) system is: 5E 8E 5A 7A 5D 7D 5g 7g 5b 8b 5e 8e. The system also covers rhythm notation and common techniques slides, bends, etc. I will post more if you are interested.
