Recently got into some serious writing for a rock band with some mates. Some big inspirations being bands like Led Zeppelin and The Who. The mystique surrounding some of the legendary riffs written by these guys is a bit difficult to approach.
So out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone might be able to throw me some links that could help in regard to Riff writing? Especially in regards to the mixing of major and minor tonalities,
