Fender has announced the availability of the Modern Jazzmaster in 3-Color Sunburst, for a limited time only.
Made in Japan (and only available in Japan, too), the Modern Jazzmaster features a three-piece alder body, while its neck offers a modern C-to-D neck, as well as a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard, contoured neck heel and even glow-in-the-dark side dots.
Fourth-generation noiseless humbuckers provide the tones, while there’s also a tune-o-matic bridge and locking tuners, as well as a deluxe gigbag.
Throw in the black headstock, and this is a radical departure from the traditional Jazzmaster… but we’d say it works.
It’s currently available to order online only for ¥153,000 (approx $1,365), and more info is available at Fender.com (provided you set your region to Japan).
