Hey guys,
I'm sure we all have that one song we've been trying to learn forever that haunts us daily. As time passes, we learn objectively more difficult songs but just can't seem to get that one silly part down.
The song that haunts me is "Six" by All That Remains.

I can't begin to count the amount of time I've spent trying to get the tremolo picking of the intro down. I can trem pick literally any other pattern pretty well and at speeds that surpass this song's. I've practiced typical guitar exercises to my metronome but can't for the life of me learn this damn song.
I'm looking for advice from anyone who has faced a similar issue. What is the song that you were stuck on forever? How did you (if you did) manage to get passed the physical and/or mental roadblocks of the part?
TL:DR I've been trying to learn Six by All That Remains for years and can't seem to get the tremolo picking in the intro down. What tips could you provide on tremolo picking across string?
