I haven't given guitar lessons in 20+ years, but with the recent COVID shutdown and all performances cancelled for the next little while (at least), I've taken to Facebook live to teach people from scratch who might have an old guitar laying around and some new time on their hands. What fun! So far we've got a D chord, an A7 chord, and now a G chord, and a basic strumming pattern. It's wild to teach to an group that you can't see or hear, but how great to receive their feedback saying they're "getting it" and their fingers are "less sore."
