DO any of you make money playing guitar outside of lessons?

How long did you play in order to play at a decent level to become lucrative?

I see guys uploading tutorials and doing fingerstyle. I don't see why I can't do that in 5 years from now.. Or is it something that is truly amazing?

I am talking about the guys that make pop songs in fingerstyle versions.
