Daredevil Unveils New, Control-Less Hype Pedal

Daredevil Pedals has unveiled a new boost pedal, the Hype. Notably, but for its footswitch, the Hype pedal features no controls.

Featuring only in/out jacks, a true bypass footswitch and an on/off LED, the Hype pedal aims for straight-ahead tones that Daredevil says are "big and nasty in the best possible way." 

According to Daredevil, "less knobs = more tone," so there aren't many features to report on, except for a small interior trim pot that adjusts output level. Set to a “decent” boost volume, it can be adjusted to the user's preference.

The Daredevil Hype boost pedal runs on 9V DC power, and is available now for $89.
