playing 1 hour with metronome is enough to being good at shredding?

i start to practice more my shredding and in the last two weeks i been playing 1 hour with metronome in 60 bpms, that is okay to know how to shred? sadly i cant dedicate all my time to practice that way bc i need to do others things with my life lol
