Volt Electrics Debuts New Reverse Guitar

Volt Electrics Debuts New Reverse Guitar
Volt Electrics Reverse

Volt Electrics has debuted its latest Reverse guitar.

The Dutch company's first model, the Reverse merges the distinct designs of the Fender Telecaster and the Gibson Firebird. In contrast to many "Telebirds" though, the Reverse is built with the look and feel of a Firebird, but with a Tele-inspired neck joint and thinner body.

The Reverse packs Sheptone Tribute pickups featuring Alnico 5 magnets with 57-58 spec 42 Enamel and 49.2 mm pole spacing. These are adjustable by a tone control - for the neck and bridge pickups - a master volume control and a 3-way pickup selector switch set on the horn pickguard.

The guitar is also customizable, offered with the choice of a mahogany, alder or swamp ash body, and vintage aging at either a light or medium level. The Reverse's fretboard is available in maple, rosewood, blackwood or ebony, and features 22 frets with Jescar fretwire, hidden ends and optional block or trapezoid inlays.

Elsewhere, the guitar features Gotoh SDS510 vintage-style machine heads, an ABR-1 style bridge and reversible machined brass saddles.

The Volt Electrics Reverse guitar is available now - with a hardshell case - for a base price of $3,800.
