How to transcribe a solo that’s hard to hear in the mix?

I’ve been trying to transcribe “Stone the Crow” by Down, especially because I wanted to learn the solo by ear rather than by looking up tabs, but when I listen the solo is buried in the mix. Any tips on how to make the solo more hearable/to train myself to hear it better?
