In this Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone) guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of the chords and guitar solo for this great song by Cinderella.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
I will first go through all of the guitar chords on an acoustic guitar. There are a few guitars heard on the original recording, both acoustic and electric. Some of the time they are strumming the chords, other times they may be arpeggiating the chords or playing a fill. I am just sticking with the underlying chords for this lesson, similar to what Tom Keifer plays live.
After we get through the chords, I will then switch to electric guitar and show you how to play Tom's awesome guitar solo note-for-note. There are some beautiful melodies in this solo, and some great blues based playing all-around.
