Marshall Unveils New 1959HWBM Bernie Marsden Signature Amp

Marshall Unveils New 1959HWBM Bernie Marsden Signature Amp
Marshall 1959HWBM

Marshall has teamed up with Bernie Marsden to create the 1959HWBM amplifier.

Based on the former Whitesnake guitarist's modded 100-watt plexi amp from 1978, the 1959HWBM is finished, fittingly, in white faux snakeskin and features leather style piping.

Alterations to this particular amp include additional gain for the normal and high treble channels, adjusted mids - for more control of the frequencies at higher levels - and adjusted global feedback in the power amp, for a bigger sonic punch.

On the controls front there are four inputs - two high and two low - volume I and volume II knobs, plus treble, middle, bass and presence controls. In terms of tubes, there are four EL34s in the power amp section.

The price of the Marshall 1959HWBM Bernie Marsden signature amp has yet to be announced. You can watch Marsden himself take the amp for a spin in the video below.
