One of the greatest gifts the Gods of Isolated Guitar Tracks have ever gifted us came in the form of Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield’s solos on Metallica’s iconic track “Master of Puppets.”
YouTube poster Kaosware uploaded a clip of the isolated guitars awhile back, to celebrate what was then the 30th anniversary of Master of Puppets.
TAB for the solos is embedded in the video, so if you’re at all tempted to give this one a try, here’s everything you need. Just be sure to warm up your hands first. Some of those triplet-based licks are so fast, you just might hurt yourself if you’re not careful.
