I am a beginner who has been playing on his brothers inexpensive(less than $200) acoustic. I am going to college soon and have to decide whether to buy electric or acoustic guitar. I enjoy playing the acoustic and I love and want to play country music- but can’t an electric guitar also be used to play country music and it’s easier to play plus there’s so many cool things one can do with it? Also cant an electric guitar be turned to low volume for in dormitory playing to not annoy roommates? I have roughly $400 to buy a guitar and can’t decide what to buy- any suggestions on what to buy? Thanks
