I’m having trouble knowing what I should about improving now.

I’ve learned both the pentatonic and natural of the major and minor scale. I mostly play some simple jazz stuff but nothing too complicated. I have just always played rhythm while jamming and I am lost on how to improvise well and expand on simple scales. Any advice? Thanks so much.
